$150 gift, an $80 lesson. Watch the credit cover the booking. This is how coaching gift cards work in Elite Coach Booking. Someone wants to buy coaching for a friend's birthday. They can buy the gift now and their friend can choose the lesson later. Here's what that looks like on your website.

On the gift card page, they simply choose an amount or enter a custom amount. They can send it immediately. They can pick a date that it gets delivered to the recipient via text message, or they can save it and give it to the student in person or manually text them the code.

When the client gets their gift card text message and opens the link, this is what they see. This person has sent them private coaching in the amount of $150 with the birthday message. To claim it, all they have to do is enter their phone number and get a text code to confirm that phone number belongs to them. We enter the six digit code and click Verify. Just like that, they've claimed their gift card.

Now we're going to have the student that received the gift book an $80 lesson right from the coach's website. They go to Book now and load the booking widget. Let's make sure we do a one-on-one lesson. When the student goes to checkout, as soon as they enter their phone number, it recognizes them. It says Welcome back. This client has $420 of credit on their account, showing that they owe zero today, and they're going to book with an $80 credit.

A gift they can book on their own time

A birthday, a thank-you, or a first lesson for a friend. A coaching gift card lets the buyer give credit toward coaching without choosing the recipient’s lesson time.

The gift-card page belongs on your coaching website. The recipient claims the gift with their phone number, then chooses a lesson through your booking page.

Credit connected to the student

At checkout, the student’s phone number connects the booking to their account credit. The booking flow shows the available credit and what is due for the selected lesson.

Clients can also find account credit and gift cards in their client portal. Gift-card credit and prepaid lesson packages are different offers. Explore packages and credits if you want to sell a set of lessons together.

From a coaching gift to credit at lesson checkout.

01

Buy the gift

On your gift-card page, the buyer chooses an amount and delivery option. They can send it by text, choose a future delivery date, or share the code themselves.

02

Claim the credit

The recipient opens the gift link, enters their phone number, and verifies it with a texted code. Claiming the gift connects the credit to their account with the coach.

03

Choose the lesson

The student books from your website. When checkout recognizes their phone number, it shows the available account credit and the amount due for that lesson.

The buyer gives coaching without picking a time

They choose the gift. The recipient chooses the lesson that works for them.

Redemption stays in your booking flow

Students claim their gift and see their credit at checkout, rather than asking you to look up a paper card.

Common questions

Can the buyer choose a custom gift-card amount?

Yes. The gift-card page offers preset amounts and a custom amount field.

Can a coaching gift card arrive on a future date?

Yes. The buyer can choose immediate text delivery or a delivery date. They can also save the code to give to the recipient themselves.

How does the recipient claim the gift?

They open the gift link and verify their phone number with a texted code. The claimed credit is connected to their account with that coach.

Does a gift card always cover the entire lesson?

The amount available depends on the student's account credit and the lesson price. Checkout shows the available credit and the amount due. The demo account has existing credit, so its displayed total is not the value of the new gift alone.

Bring the messy coaching rules.

Elite Coach Booking turns those rules into a booking flow clients can use and a coach app you can run from.
