Elite Coach Booking is an all-in-one app for coaches to run private lessons, lesson packages, and payments, built for independent sports coaches who also sell clinics and camps. The coaching website, booking, availability, payments, package credits, reminders, and client records stay in one system. Coaches build free, choose a plan, and pay $1 to activate. Core is $39 a month and Elite is $79 a month after the first confirmed live booking, and Stripe processing fees are paid separately. Platform billing has no monthly fee and keeps 20% of paid lessons booked through the app, with Stripe processing fees included in that 20%. The coach owns the calendar and the connected Stripe account.

The best fit is a sports coach who sells time at real places and needs each booking to carry the right lesson, venue, price, payment rule, package balance, and reminder. It is not a fit for a facility that needs court inventory, payroll, retail, or team administration. A coach whose main product is an online course, contract-led consulting engagement, or digital content library may also prefer a platform built around that work.

Think about the apps you actually like using.

You did not read a manual. You did not attend a setup call. You opened one, understood it immediately, and it has been quietly useful ever since. It knows what you are likely to want. It does not ask you to do its filing.

Now think about the software running your coaching business.

A calendar that holds times but not lessons. A payment app that holds money but not context. A notes app with a client’s history in it. A spreadsheet counting package credits. A text thread where the actual scheduling happens. A website someone built once that cannot take a booking.

None of those tools is bad. Not one of them was designed for a coach.

The category problem

Coaching businesses inherit software built for someone else’s job.

Meeting schedulers are built around one kind of appointment: an open block of time with a link attached. That works for a sales call. A coaching booking is a specific offer, at a specific place, with a payment rule, sometimes drawn from a prepaid balance, sometimes with a roster and a seat count.

Club and facility systems are built around court inventory, memberships, and a front desk. A coach does not sell courts. A coach sells their own time, at venues they may not own, sometimes traveling to the client.

Athlete development apps are built around video review, drills, and progress over time. Real work, genuinely valuable, and completely separate from getting the lesson booked and paid for.

So the coach ends up holding four or five tools that each solve a quarter of the problem, and becomes the integration layer between them. Moving information between apps that will never speak to each other is the job nobody agreed to take.

The fix is one app designed for this business from the start.

What “the whole business” means

Elite Coach Booking is the coach app. Everything the coaching business needs to run lives inside it.

On a phone, the app has five persistent destinations, because a coach standing on a court has one free thumb and very little time:

  • Today is where the day lives. The next lesson, the Needs you queue, today’s agenda, and a compact read on the business.
  • Calendar is for scanning the schedule by day, week, or month.
  • Clients is lookup, history, follow-up, and booking on a client’s behalf.
  • Inbox is client conversations, kept with the client they belong to.
  • More is the business itself: availability, places, what clients can book, programs, clinics, and camps, payments, standing lessons, reports, the booking page, and the website editor.

On a desktop, the same work is grouped into Daily and Business rather than dumped into one flat list of routes. Coaches are mostly mobile, but desktop still matters for setup and review, so it gets an information architecture that suits sitting down with the business.

That is the claim, stated plainly: bookings, payments, packages and credits, reminders, client reschedules, clients, programs, venues, reports, and your coaching website, in one app, designed together.

The booking already knows its offer, its place, its payment rule, and its client, because all of that was designed as one system rather than a scheduler with a payment button bolted to the side.

Here is that connection in the real booking flow. A returning client sees the eligible package, the amount due changes to $0, and the remaining balance is shown before the lesson is booked.

Paperbell’s product page, pricing page, and payment-plan guide were checked on October 5, 2026. Paperbell is a credible fit for a general coach who wants contracts, intake forms, content delivery, and payment plans in the same storefront. Elite Coach Booking is built around the physical and operational details of a sports coaching business.

Simple is a set of decisions, not an adjective

Any company can say its app is beautiful and intuitive. It is a cheap sentence. So here is what those words cost us in product decisions.

Five destinations, not twenty. A coach should never hunt. The mobile bottom bar is fixed at five, and the fifth one is called More rather than Settings, because availability, programs, the website editor, reports, and the booking page are business tools, not account preferences. Naming things honestly is a design decision.

Type you can read, at a size that does not fight your phone. Every coach editing control uses a 16px minimum font size. iOS zooms a focused input below that size, and the lazy fix is to lock the viewport so nothing can zoom at all. We did not do that, because coaches need to pinch and zoom on a bright court. We fixed the type instead.

Targets your thumb can hit. Dismiss controls are a minimum 44 by 44 pixels, with one press to clear an item.

Color that means something. Royal blue is action. Green means confirmed success. Red is reserved for genuinely destructive or risky overrides, so a red control always deserves your attention.

Restraint over decoration. Flat white cards, thin slate borders, quiet elevation, one intro heading per page. No decorative gradients, no card nested inside a card inside a card, no page that explains itself three times before it lets you work.

Warnings when they matter. If you are about to book something that will double-book you, the app says so in plain language before you do it, and still lets you decide. A calm app is not a silent one.

Mobile is designed, not squeezed. Coaches are mostly on a phone. The phone layout gets first-class decisions rather than a compressed version of a desktop screen.

That list is the difference between an app you tolerate and an app you reach for.

A companion, not another dashboard

The real cost of running a coaching business is not the work. It is the open loops.

An unpaid balance you keep half-remembering. A client who asked about Thursday and never got an answer. A package that might be down to its last credit. A booking request sitting somewhere in a notification list. Each one is small. Together they are why the business follows you home.

The coach app is built to close those loops instead of storing them.

Needs you is one consolidated queue: urgent decisions, unpaid bookings, retained cancellation payments, refund follow-up, and low package balances, counted once and shown the same way on Today and in the full request list. Recent activity stays informational, so the count never inflates itself with things that do not need you.

Install the app to your home screen and its badge combines unacknowledged Needs you work with unread Inbox messages, so clearing one never hides the other. When the badge is clear, it is clear, and you can stop keeping your own mental list of what the software has not told you.

Meanwhile the business keeps running without you. Clients book real availability inside the rules you set. Reminders go out carrying the actual time, place, and next step. A client who needs to move a lesson uses their own management link instead of your phone. An optional AI front desk can answer common questions and guide a prospect toward booking while you are on court.

Set it up once, then go coach

The operating model is deliberately small. Three things make a coaching business bookable:

  1. What clients can book. Your private lessons, packages, clinics, camps, and prices.
  2. Where it happens. The facilities, courts, parks, or travel area you coach at.
  3. When you are available. A weekly pattern that repeats as far ahead as you want.

Define those three and publish your site, and the app takes bookings. Change one of them later and every surface follows: the booking page, the website, the reminders, the client’s management link. One change, in one place.

The money stays yours. Lesson payments go to your own connected account, and bookings write to your own calendar. Elite Coach Booking is the booking brain for the business. It is not a marketplace standing between you and your clients.

What is the best app for private sports coaches to manage bookings and payments?

The best app for private sports coaches to manage bookings and payments keeps both on the same record. In Elite Coach Booking, each booking carries its lesson, place, price, and payment rule, whether that is full payment, a deposit, or pay at the session, and the money goes to the coach’s own Stripe account. Core is $39 a month with no Elite Coach Booking fee on client payments.

Unpaid bookings and low package balances show up in the Needs you queue, so you do not have to track them in your head. Automated email reminders carry the time and place, and clients get access to a private client portal with their upcoming lessons and package balance.

Can one app run private lessons, lesson packages, and payments?

Yes. A client can buy a private-lesson package through the coach’s published site and pay through the coach’s connected Stripe account. Once Stripe confirms the payment, the credits attach to the client record. A matching booking uses one credit, a cancellation returns it, and both coach and client can see what remains.

Can one app handle full payment, deposits, and pay-at-session lessons?

Yes. Each offer can require full payment, collect a deposit, allow pay later, or show external payment instructions. The payment state stays with the booking and client record instead of becoming a separate text thread.

Does the coach keep control of the calendar and money?

Yes. Bookings follow the coach’s Google Calendar and availability rules. Payments through Stripe go to the coach’s connected Stripe account. Elite Coach Booking supplies the booking and operating system; it is not a marketplace taking ownership of the lesson payment.

When is Elite Coach Booking not the right app?

It is not designed to run court inventory, payroll, a retail counter, or team administration for a large facility. It also does not replace a specialist video-analysis platform. Coaches can use those tools for athlete development and use Elite Coach Booking for the business around the lesson.

The standard we are holding ourselves to

Coaches deserve the same quality of software as everyone else.

You use excellent apps all day for messaging, maps, music, and money. Then you open the tool that runs your livelihood and it feels like paperwork with a login. That gap is not acceptable, and closing it is the entire premise of this product.

Elite Coach Booking is a coaching app built for one job: running a coaching business, on a phone, between lessons, without a spreadsheet and without a second brain. Every screen is judged against that. If a feature makes the app more capable but harder to use standing on a court, it is not finished yet.

You did not get into coaching to do admin. The app should carry the admin, and hand you back the part you actually love.
